Wikimedia Commons hosts only freely licensed images, sound files, and other media. With over 14 million uploaded files, (as of September 2012), it is the largest free "images-only" repository. It contains many public domain images. Commons is the primary repository of media for all Wikimedia projects. Media on Commons can be used readily on all Wikimedia projects, just as if the media were uploaded to the projects directly. The site has more than 2,300 galleries consisting of over 23,000 unique photos (including the old gallery). At least three galleries--that is, up to 30-40 photos--are added to the site daily. Each image can be downloaded in at least four dimensional sizes: thumbnail, normal, large and very large. Photos are up to 4752 x 3168 maximum resolution. (old domain launched in 2008: moka.t2i.info - Moka Gallery; As of January 1, 2011, public-photo.net contents were moved to a new domain: publicphoto.org) !
